Art Education is designed to encourage students to develop an artistic understanding within the context of education. Courses in history, philosophy, psychology, sociology, education, and cultural studies are designed to help students to broaden their knowledge while developing stronger critical thinking, reading and writing skills, to provide students with the critical and theoretical tools necessary to pursue careers as art educator and other art-related professionals.
